आइए जानते हैं कुछ कदम अपना खुद का एनजीओ खोलने के लिए:
1. एक मिशन सेट करें
सबसे पहले यह तय करें कि उसका क्या काम करेगा। महिलाओं के अधिकार, मिड-डे-मील, सेक्स वर्कर के लिए काम करना, धरती को बचाना-आप ऐसा कोई भी लक्ष्य ले सकते हैं जिससे पूरा देश जूंझ रहा हो। तो बस, अपना लक्ष्य सोचें, उसे कागज पर लिखें और लोगों को समझाएं।
2. बोर्ड औफ डायरैक्टर/सदस्य चुनें
संस्था को गाइड करने के लिए बोर्ड की जरूरत पड़ती है। आपको फिनैनशीय्ल एडवाइज़र, सहयोगी स्टाफ ,टेक्निशियन व कानूनी मामलों की समझ रखने वाले लोगों की जरूरत होगी।
3. अपने एनजीओ के लिए नाम सोचें
उसका नाम सोचना बेहद जरूरी है। यह छोटा और कैची होना चाहिए और यह आपके मिशन के बारें में बात करना चाहिए . याद रखें, आपके एनजीओ का नाम किसी गवर्मेंट बॉडी, बोर्ड, अथॉरिटी, किसी रजिस्टर्ड कंपनी या किसी और एनजीओ के नाम जैसा हो
4. मैमोरैंडम
आर्टिकल अफ एसोसिएशन/आर्टिकल आफ इंकोर्परेशन उसके लिए आपको एक डॉक्यूमेंट सबमिट करना पड़ता है जिसमें आपके एनजीओ का नाम, पता, एनजीओ में काम करने वालों का नाम, आपका एनजीओ किस वजह से है, आदि डिटेल होती है।
5. उसे रजिस्टर करवाएं –
सभी डॉक्यूमेंट तैयार करने व फीस भरने के बाद आप इनमें से किसी भी एक्ट के तहत अपने एनजीओ को रजिस्ट्रर करवा सकते हैं
1)सोसाइटी रजिस्ट्रेशन एक्ट
2) इंडियन ट्रस्ट एक्ट
3) कंपनीज़ एक्ट
6. अपने एनजीओ के लिए फंड जोड़ें
उसको चलाने के लिए आपको पैसों की जरूरत है.आप फीस या डोनेशंस के द्वारा यह कर सकते हैं. आप सरकार या फॉरेन सोर्सेज की भी मदद ले सकते हैं
7. जुड़े व ग्रो करें
जितना हो सके, बाकी एनजीओ, सरकार व मीडिया से जुड़ें और ग्रो करें।

1. Set up a mission

2. Choose Board of Directors / Members
